[Thursday, 25^th August – fresh awakening – the Berliners – parting from Kahle and Hülsen – hike (1) – excited cheerful mood – beautiful cloudy sky – beautiful valley towards Adliswil – laughingly jumping up onto the Albis [Pass] –

Albis [Pass] (2) and heavenly view of Lake Zurich – delightful walk through meadow flowers and deciduous forests – view of Lake Zug and the white mountains in the distance – towards the Rigi [mountain massif] – Baar – footpath through gardens – arriving in Zug (3) at 18:00 – the elegant landlord – very decent meal – ride over Lake Zug – beautiful sunset – thinking of Venice – quiet and soft sleep]
